About the role Reporting to the Team Manager and working closely with other team members, you will be responsible for general garden maintenance across multiple sites in Queenstown.
Your duties will include planting, weeding, pruning, and vegetation control, as well as maintaining bedding displays, hanging baskets, roses, borders, and shrubbery.
You'll ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards while prioritising safety for the public, your team, and yourself.
Who we are looking for Ideally, we're looking for someone with practical experience in gardening or horticulture, but this isn't a must.
What's most important is having a strong work ethic, a passion for working outdoors, and a hands-on attitude.
Other key qualities include: A current, full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual Ability to work both independently and in a team, with a natural willingness to help teammates Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the role Strong public relations skills, as you may interact with the public from time to time Physically fit and able to complete all tasks efficiently What we can offer you As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with other professionals, gain further knowledge and experience, and develop your career in horticulture.
We offer regular work hours, a performance-based salary that is reviewed annually, and a $300 wellness benefits.
