As a full-time member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting the summer magic that awaits our guests at Walter Peak. In this role, you'll: Collaborate on annual planting plans, ensuring our gardens showcase the perfect seasonal palette. Skillfully prepare and maintain seed beds, nurturing the growth of a stunning array of flora. Plant, propagate, and breathe life into trees, shrubs, bulbs, hedges, bushes, and flowers. Transform lawn areas into lush havens through weeding, trimming, fertilising, watering, and mowing. Install irrigation systems where required. Shape plants through precise pruning, thoughtful tree care, and installation of support structures. Craft softscape and hardscape features that harmonise with the surroundings. Combat pests and diseases with a strategic hand, ensuring our gardens thrive. We are looking for someone who: Has a good working knowledge of different plant types, preparing garden beds, plant maintenance and pruning. Has working knowledge of horticulture. Is hardworking with a can-do attitude. Is a proven team player with excellent communication skills as you'll be working with a small, close-knit team at Walter Peak. What do you get out of this?
