Green by Nature (formally known as Recreational Services) is proud to be the QLDC's chosen service provider, entrusted with maintaining the beauty of the region's parks, reserves, playgrounds, and public spaces. We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team!
Reporting to the Team Manager and working closely alongside other individuals, you will be responsible for general garden maintenance across multiple sites in Wanaka. Your duties will include planting, weeding, pruning, and vegetation control tasks, ensuring maintenance is top-notch, timely, and planned, while keeping things safe for the public, your team, and yourself.
Who We Are Looking For Ideally, we would love someone who has practical experience in gardening/horticulture; however, this is not a must. As long as you have an awesome work ethic, with a passion for working outdoors, you would be a perfect candidate. Other success factors include:
A current, full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual
A willingness to accept responsibility and ownership of jobs while working as part of a wider team
Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the job
Excellent relationship building and communication skills
Tons of motivation with a strong desire to get the job done

About Us Since 1992, Recreational Services has been dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces across New Zealand. In 2021, we came together with three of the most well-established landscaping businesses in Australia – Green Options, Super Gardens, and Skyline Landscape Services.
