Blown away by the region's natural beauty and inspired by the Council's forward-thinking vision for the future, and we are now looking for a reliable individual to join our team!About the roleReporting to the Team Manager and working closely with other team members, you will be responsible for general garden maintenance across multiple sites in Hastings and Havelock North. Your duties will include planting, weeding, pruning, and vegetation control, as well as maintaining bedding displays, hanging baskets, roses, borders, and shrubbery. You will ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards, maintaining a well-planned and timely schedule while prioritising the safety of the public, your team, and yourself.Who we are looking forIdeally, we would love someone who has practical experience in gardening/horticulture, however, this is not a must. As long as you have an awesome work ethic, with a passion for working outdoors and getting stuck in then you would be a perfect candidate.
