About the role Our dedicated team at St. Andrews Village is looking for a Gardener to join them in maintaining an attractive community environment for our residents. This role requires a motivated and reliable person with a 'can-do, will-do' attitude, who can work well in a team as well as with minimal supervision. You will assist the gardening team with the gardening and general upkeep of the grounds. We encourage candidates who possess knowledge or experience in general gardening, spraying, weeding, and/or pruning to apply. Enthusiastic and fit candidates with a great attitude are also welcome! This position is working 30 hours per week across 4 days. Skills and experience required: Previous experience working outdoors and any experience with gardening, school grounds caretaking, landscaping, or amenity gardening would be ideal. A clean driver's license would be preferable. Empathy for the older person is essential. Excellent spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear, considerate manner. An industrious, diligent approach to ensuring that the job is done to the highest standards.
