Garden Team Leader

Mitre10 MEGA Invercargill is a locally owned and operated company with a vision toprovide outstanding customer service and offer great value products to ourcustomers.  We areseeking experienced and motivated applicants to fill the role of Garden DepartmentTeam Leader. Thisis a busy hands-on role responsible for leading the Garden Department, which ismade up of Garden Green and Garden Dry, this involves guiding and supporting theteam day to day, overseeing department rosters, driving towards our salestargets, maintaining and enhancing store standards, ensuring good processes arebeing followed, as well as being actively involved with the products we sell inour well-stocked and highly presented Garden Department to deliver the bestpossible customer experience. The idealcandidate will have previous and proven leadership experience, ideally thatexperience would be in a retail industry, knowledge and understanding of GardenGreen and Dry Goods would be an advantage as this role provides technicalsupport and advice to customers, you will also work closely with the RetailZone Manager to achieve sales objectives and be involved with aspects of stockordering. Thisrole is 40 hours per week and the roster pattern would include weekdays as wellas one day of the weekend. Youwill need to possess the following skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team. Exceptional communicator Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. An organised approach, proven reliability and able tomanage your time efficiently. A genuine passion for customer service and leading ateam.
