Mitre10 MEGA Invercargill is seeking someone who can lead and guide the Garden Teamto excellence in customer service while creating a team culture that encouragesa positive working environment.
Leadingthis department is a busy hands-on role that involves stock management and thesale of garden products, providing technical garden related advice and also takingresponsibility for general merchandising and standards within the Garden Department.To achieve success, you will be a highly motivated individual who has ideallyan understanding of Garden Green and Dry Goods and experience in managingdirect reports and teams.
Thisrole is 43 hours per week, and the roster pattern willinclude weekdays and one day of the weekend.
Forthis position we are seeking candidates that demonstrate the followingcapabilities: A passion for customer-obsessed serviceProven experience in leading and managing teamsStrong organisational skills and the ability to managea varied and busy workloadPhysically fit as there will be a level of lifting andmanual handling, ladder use and walking/standing on concrete floors
