The casino is far from your typical workplace! Our attendants are right in the heart of the action on the main gaming floor, ensuring that our Gaming Machine customers have a top-notch experience every time they visit. In this role, you'll be on the move, helping customers enjoy their time in the casino. Tasks include assisting with minor machine repairs (training provided!), answering general queries, and supporting our host responsibility programme by promoting safe and responsible gaming. You'll also help maintain a clean and tidy area by tidying up chairs and removing empty glasses. The role involves a fair amount of walking (typically over 10km during a shift), so it's perfect for those who want to stay active while working!
A passion for customer service is essential, and you'll understand the importance of handling confidential information with care. You are someone who can anticipate customer needs, resolve issues with ease, and consistently provide excellent service. With a confident communication style, you'll approach customers in an outgoing, friendly, and positive manner. An eye for detail and a professional attitude are key, as is the ability to know when to apply policy, use your judgement, and escalate matters when necessary. This is an ideal role for someone eager to boost their people skills and gain valuable experience at New Zealand's largest hospitality venue.
To be successful for this role you must:
