The Gaming Ambassador may work in any of the following capacities depending on business needs: dealing at Table Games, attending Gaming Machines or providing high-quality cash handling services in the Cage.Gaming Ambassadors are the face of fun and entertainment in our business, and we are currently searching for an experienced star performer to work their magic and delight our customers. As a Gaming Ambassador, you will deliver a five-star experience and interact with our fabulous customers and players, leading various games such as Blackjack, Baccarat and Roulette, attending to our Gaming Machines customers, and providing top-notch cashiering services.This is a full time opportunity working 40 hours per week across a variety of shifts including nights and weekends. This position is remunerated at a minimum of $29.08 per hour.About youIt'll be your winning attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work under pressure which will make you a great fit for SkyCity. You will bring previous Table Games Dealing experience along with the following:Demonstrable Table Games Dealing experienceHave fantastic interpersonal skills and be a confident and clear communicatorBe a great listener and able to follow instructions and game rules clearlyHave a head for numbers - strong maths skills is an important element of this roleBe well presented with a high level of professionalismDemonstrate flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidaysHave a good credit and criminal history - the role will require a gaming licence so these checks will be doneBe 20 years old or over due to gaming licensing requirementsPreference will be given to applicants who currently reside in New Zealand. You'll enjoy the benefits that SkyCity has to offer as well as the benefit of working alongside a great team.
