Poverty Bay Rugby Football Union is looking for someone just like you!
This role isn't just about administration—it's about building the future of rugby in Poverty Bay.
You'll be leading the charge to support Coach, Referee, and Player development, overseeing representative teams, and driving participation in schools and senior rugby.
It's a hands-on role that requires energy, a desire to make a real impact, and a commitment to working with all clubs and schools to strengthen rugby within our region.
Key Responsibilities: Build strong, healthy relationships with rugby clubs, schools, and key stakeholders Lead efforts to grow engagement and participation in rugby at all levels Provide leadership or support for the development of coaches, referees, and players Ensure the smooth administration of representative teams and rugby competitions Contribute to the strategic direction of PBRFU and NZ Rugby initiatives Who We're Looking For: Passionate advocate for the rugby community, thriving during busy periods Preferred experience in Sports Administration or Management Strong teamwork and leadership skills Strategic planner with a focus on long-term growth Excellent communication with clubs, schools, and stakeholders Proven organisational and time management abilities Hardworking, trustworthy, and integrity-driven Customer-focused approach to delivering rugby experiences Why Join Us?
