Gallery Assistant

A vital administrative role supporting the Gallery Director and Gallery Manager within a private dealer gallery based in Tamaki Makaurau.
We are a close-knit team, so the right applicant should show a high level of initiative and be adept at general administrative duties including stock management, scheduling, invoicing, and freight management.
Art handling, assistance with exhibition openings, and light cleaning duties will also be required when necessary.
The ideal candidate will be personable, well-presented, and enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people.
This is a paid, part-time position requiring a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours p/w, between Monday - Friday, with rare weekend cover occasionally required.
Key skills sought include: Moderate administrative and computer literacy (Mac based systems).
High attention to detail and presentation.
Sound organisational and time management skills to meet competing priorities and ability to work in a methodical manner.
Full driver's license would be an advantage.
