Furniture Shop Manager

Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Furniture Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
The guaranteed working hours is 30 hours per week, and you will be working at our shop in Panmure, Auckland.
Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations: Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and ensuring the store is well-presented at all times.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate store staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Sales & Customer Service: Drive sales by promoting products, providing product knowledge, and assisting customers with their purchases. Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders as needed, and ensure accurate inventory records.
Financial Management: Oversee cash handling, prepare daily financial reports, and manage the store's budget to maximise profitability.
Marketing & Merchandising: Implement in-store promotions, organise product displays, and ensure the store layout is visually appealing.
Reporting: Generate sales reports and provide insights on store performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

At least 3 years of Proven experience as a Store Manager, preferably in the furniture or retail industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to manage inventory and financial aspects of the store.
Knowledge of furniture products and trends is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
