Retail Assistants (Retail & Consumer Products)We are looking for an experienced furniture sales assistant with at least 3 years selling in the furniture industry, preferably in beds and lounge suites.We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, exceptional organisational abilities, and the desire to deliver outstanding results.You will need to be great at:Listening to what the customer needs and wants – genuine and helpfulMatching products to the customersCommunicating the features of the products clearly and simplyKeeping up with product knowledgeWe are a furniture store, so the ability to lift furniture along with simple furniture assembly is a requirement.We're looking for genuine, real people who make each customer's experience personal.In this role, you will be responsible for selling a range of products, building relationships with customers, keeping the store presentable, and helping fellow team members.Ideally, you will also be experienced with point-of-sale systems, stock takes, inventory management, and some experience with Facebook and website maintenance.Being able to drive a small delivery truck would be an advantage for our local deliveries.This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
