Retail Assistants (Retail & Consumer Products) We are looking for an experienced furniture sales assistant with at least 3 years selling in the furniture industry preferably in beds and lounge suites.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, exceptional organisational abilities, and the desire to deliver outstanding results.
You will need to be great at: Listening to what the customer needs and wants – genuine and helpful Matching products to the customers Communicating the features of the products clearly and simply Keeping up with product knowledge We are a furniture store so the ability to lift furniture along with simple furniture assembly is a requirement.
We're looking for genuine, real people who make each customers experience personal.
In this role you will be responsible for selling a range of products, building relationships with customers, keeping the store presentable and helping fellow team members.
Ideally you will also be experienced with point-of-sale systems, stock takes, inventory management and some experience with Facebook and Website maintenance.
Being able to drive a small delivery truck would be an advantage for our local deliveries.
This is a full-time position Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
There may be some annual leave or sick leave to cover on Saturdays from time to time.
