Position: Assistant Funeral DirectorLocation: Haven Falls - Poutama TangihangaEmployment Type: Full timeResponsibilities of this role will include the following:Transportation of tupapaku, from Mortuary, Hospitals and Coroners etc.Casket preparationVehicle / Fleet maintenance and coordination, liaising with external suppliersPreparation of media material, tributes, presentations and service bookletsGeneral and varied awhi of team membersGeneral maintenance of whare and liaising with external suppliersStock takes, orders and purchasingGeneral cleaning, set up, and pack down as required on-sitePotential candidates must have the following:Full driver's license or pending transition from restrictedHigh level of professionalism and personal presentationReasonable level of competency with Microsoft Office, Email, Word and ExcelAbility to travel between Haven Falls sites as requiredExcellent time management and communication skillsWorking hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, however, some flexibility would be required due to the nature of our mahi.
