As a charitable trust, the provide specialised care for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses, along with support for their families and carers. Their mission is to enrich lives through holistic, compassionate palliative care, helping people embrace every moment in ways meaningful to them. They aspire to be Rotorua's centre of excellence for Hospice palliative care, touching lives and hearts across our community.
We are now seeking a dynamic Fundraising and Marketing Manager to join our team on a fixed term basis covering maternity leave. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll spearhead our fundraising efforts, ensuring we meet our annual financial goals. Your role will encompass securing donations, grants, and bequests, as well as organising major fundraising events. This pivotal position offers a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on individual lives and our community as a whole.

Relevant tertiary qualification with proven experience in fundraising, marketing or related fields
Experience in comprehensive event planning and execution
Exceptional communication skills across various media platforms
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
Outstanding interpersonal skills with a talent for building and nurturing relationships
Strong ethical standards and integrity
Creative problem-solving abilities with a focus on achieving results
Self-motivation and a genuine passion for Hospice care and fundraising
