We currently operate across Tamaki Makaurau Auckland, Kirikiriroa Hamilton, Te Matau-a-Maui Hawke's Bay, Porirua, Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington and Otautahi Christchurch.
With 41,600 Kiwis (1 in 100) experiencing homelessness, our kaupapa is to break down barriers and bring people together through acts of kindness and connection.

We work hard and 'get it done' but always make time to celebrate each other's success.The RoleWe're looking for a proactive and hands-on team member to join our small, friendly, and passionate Marketing, Fundraising & Partnerships (MFP) team in Aotearoa.
Working alongside the wider MFP team (across Australia and New Zealand), you will use your fundraising and marketing knowledge to implement a broad range of fundraising and marketing practices to suit New Zealand audiences and supporters.The Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator will support the MFP team by effectively delivering and executing activities and campaigns across diverse fundraising streams, with a strong focus on individual giving, regular giving, and community fundraising.
This role is critical in ensuring Orange Sky's kaupapa of positively connecting communities is upheld through thoughtful, authentic, and impactful fundraising and marketing practices.This is a fast-paced, remote-based role where collaboration, relationship management, time management, and data-driven decision-making are key.
You'll thrive working both autonomously and as part of a team, with opportunities to connect and travel.
Proactivity in building relationships and navigating a remote environment is essential.

You'll have the ability to bring our donors, sponsors, and supporters on an amazing journey with Orange Sky, in our mission to positively connect communities.Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience at a similar role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector, with a proven track record in individual giving, regular giving, community fundraising, donor acquisition, retention, and maximising donor value, as well as:Strong copywriting, project management, and data analysis abilities.Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and digital environments.Ability to analyse growth and fundraising opportunities with a data-driven mindset.A high attention to detail, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet conflicting deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining honest relationships.Proactive, highly organised, and able to navigate a fast-paced environment.Growth mindset with a willingness to learn, problem-solve, and strive for best practices.Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.A fun and vibrant attitude, ready to grow professionally in a dynamic setting.Experience with project management tools, fundraising platforms, and CRM databases, especially Salesforce.Strong competency in Microsoft applications and internet-based tools.While proximity to our service locations is advantageous, we are open to considering candidates from other areas who have the right skills.Application ProcessThis position will only stay open until we find our missing jigsaw piece, so please apply early!
