The first is to design the structure, policies and programmes on which to base a sustainable, long term fundraising function within the College, initially focusing on the campus redevelopment. The second is to implement a long-term programme of sustainable philanthropy and giving.Strategic Development: Contribute towards, assess, report and provide detailed analysis on all fundraising projects and campaigns.Campaign Delivery: Research and identify funding sources, develop comprehensive campaign plans to underpin major projects.Programmes / Projects: Develop programmes identified within the College Strategy and write grant proposals and funding applications.Communications: Promote fundraising initiatives through effective communication strategies.Financial: Develop and manage individual budgets, monitor financial performance and ensure that targets for the return on each donated dollar are developed, met and reported.Special Character: Be always an ambassador for the College and build, promote and enhance the College's public profile at events.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Background in events planning and management.Exceptional communication, orally (speaking and presenting) and written.A careful and perceptive listener with an empathic understanding of funders' needs and interests.Strong multi-tasker who works well under pressure to meet deadlines and able to self-manage time and workflow to maximise efficiency.Ability to network and establish meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.ABOUT YOU:For this newly created position, the ideal candidate will have proven experience in events and fundraising and can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
