SAFE is recruiting for a general Fundraising Manager who will help our Fundraising Team to inspire and attract individuals to engage with SAFE and to help continue to build lifelong relationships with supporters. Your passion will be for fundraising including working to deliver against financial targets and achieving growth year on year through continual improvement. You have experience in Direct Mail, Regular Giving and all types of written communication and marketing collateral. Experience in data segmentation of audiences and working with acquisition and retention plans for both Direct Mail and Regular Giving is important. There is an opportunity to expand your knowledge by working closely with the Head of Fundraising on the major gifts, legacy and mid-level programmes. Ideally you have strong database skills which includes Raiser's Edge and a good understanding of other fundraising tools including MailChimp, is desirable. SAFE's team is spread across New Zealand, so you will be self-motivated, with a self-managing 'can do' attitude and you are used to collaborating with other teams online to achieve results and to manage work streams across a busy fundraising team, to achieve deadlines. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, this is an amazing opportunity to come into SAFE at a time of growth with a great team, well-established systems, processes and fundraising tools in place. What do you need? · A minimum of three years in a similar fundraising management role. · Hands-on experience in optimising Regular Giving campaigns and have worked to deliver Direct Mail communication. · Proven experience in delivery of all personalised communication using segmentation. · Ability to analyse reports from Raiser's Edge and recommend changes for growth. · Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with experience in stewarding donors both by phone and face to face. · Experience in major gifts, legacies or mid-level programmes is also helpful.
