Our goal is to lead the world with solutions to reduce New Zealand's bowel cancer statistics and free future generations from the impact of bowel cancer.The Role:BCNZ is seeking a dynamic and motivated Fundraising Manager to help lead the fight against one of the country's most prevalent cancers. In this pivotal role, you'll manage and grow key income streams, including Major Donors, Bequests, Corporate Partnerships, and Individual Giving, ensuring the organization's continued impact through awareness, education, advocacy, research, and support.You'll be responsible for developing innovative fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and leading initiatives such as the 'Move Your Butt' campaign and corporate partnerships.You Will Need the Following:5+ years' proven fundraising experience, securing gifts from individuals/businesses, managing multiple revenue streams, conducting prospect research, budgeting, writing, and contributing to fundraising strategyStrong understanding of donor psychology and concepts such as the fundraising pyramid, donor journeys, and moves managementStrong understanding of donor management and databases, preferably SalesforceAdvanced-level experience with Mailchimp, Canva, and Microsoft SuiteThis role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up and lead a medium-sized charity's strategic fundraising plan.
