The teams at The Doctors Silverstream and High Street Health have joined forces and are working together to build better future for their patients. Initially based out of The Doctors Silverstream, you will join our experienced team, before moving to High Street Health hub to operate as part of the new clinical team being built. This position will ideally suit a practice nurse who is looking for a new challenge, understands the pressures of primary care and wants an opportunity to upskill and bring their ideas to the table.

This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours across Monday to Friday.

Do you have what we are looking for?

A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre

Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care

Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.

Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as travel or occupational health, prescribing or long-term conditions

Willing to continually learn and improve

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.

You will ideally hold current CPR certificate

Immunisation and smear taker certificates is desirable but not essential

Computer literate
