We are seeking a highly motivated foodie and energetic person to join our fantastic team at New World Ilam as a Service Deli Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large Deli team who are passionate about producing high-quality products and providing excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves to hit the ground running in our busy deli department.
Responsibilities will include: Providing excellent customer service to our valued customersPreparing, producing, and presenting a range of fresh foodsMaintaining stock levels and presentation standardsImplementing food and health and safety requirements, including record-keeping of temperatures and cleaningMaintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards of the departmentWhat we are looking for: A great work ethicAbility to work well in a busy team environmentPrevious experience with food preparation would be advantageousDedication to customer serviceSelf-motivation and able to work independentlyPhysically fit as this will involve some heavy liftingHours: This is a permanent full-time position working Tuesday to Saturday 5am-1.30pm (40 hours).
