Let's talk about the role and responsibilities

Our Cloud and Custom Applications team is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to work with some of Capgemini's key and long-standing annuity clients. This is an opportunity that can see you continue to grow an already strong foundation or have you coming back to the workforce after a career break. Our collaborative team approach is highly regarded within Capgemini and sought out by our clients.

Maintain existing applications and have .Net, C#, React, React Native, WebAPI & WebServices, basic Azure DevOps, ASP.Net, JavaScript and Android experience.

Resolve incidents and service requests/enhancements and undertake release & monitoring activities. This includes participation in the on-call support roster.

Communicate regularly and effectively on technical and functional aspects with clients.

Perform requirements analysis to identify business issues, solution requirements, and related benefits.

Guide more junior members of the team as and when required.

As a Developer within the Cloud and Custom Applications Operations team, you'll define, develop, test and maintain software applications to meet the required business outcomes for our clients. You will be involved in writing code, testing and analysing software programs and applications. As a developer in the team you will be involved in providing the ongoing support for our clients by either working in a team or independently working directly with our clients.

Let's talk about the team

Cloud & Custom Applications combine design and technology with modern delivery methodologies to deliver experience oriented, scalable, sustainable and secure enterprise digital solutions. We are tech savvy consultants on a journey to deliver innovation and expertise to our clients. Join a collaborative team that is solution focused and empowers each other to be their best.

Let's talk about your capability and experience

You have great written and verbal communication skills, and you thrive in a collaborative working environment. As a senior, we would expect you to promote a high performance DevOps culture within the team, focusing on a mix of consulting and delivery excellence to our customers.

You have 7+ years of relevant experience as a developer, with some exposure across the following:

Running small to medium projects, interfacing with the client.

Modern project delivery methodologies such as DevOps and Agile/Scrum.

Object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.

C#, .NET Core/Framework, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, SQL, PowerShell, Ionic/React Native, Node.js.

Cloud stack: Azure/AWS/GCP, Azure DevOps/GitHub, CI/CD systems.

Front end frameworks: React/Angular/Vue.js, Typescript, SASS/SCSS, Bootstrap/Tailwind.

Database technologies, integration technologies, unit testing, infrastructure as code, container technology.

Integrating with other MS products (for example, CRM, Dynamics, Power Platform).

We don't expect you to tick off everything on this list - if you have similar experience with a different stack, or the willingness to jump in and learn in a supportive, hands-on environment, we would love to hear from you!
