Measuring social impact can be difficult, confusing, and expensive. ImpactLab has developed a methodology and a suite of products that our Impact Analysts serve customers through our digital platform.
We're looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with a passion for creating impactful solutions to join our team! In this role, you'll dive deep into code, create and refine our platform, and collaborate closely with our Product team. You'll live and breathe PHP and are confident in making key strategic decisions about our product.
This role can be based in our Auckland or Wellington offices and will involve occasional travel between locations.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications using PHP, Laravel, Livewire, and Filament with Forge, Breeze, and Tailwind CSS to drive ImpactLab's flagship products.Collaborate with our development partner to understand the codebase and processes, gradually taking on more responsibility as our internal team grows.Work with the Product Squad to design and enhance product features, prioritising user experience and intuitive design.Conduct user interviews to gather insights and ensure solutions meet customer needs.Participate in agile ceremonies with cross-functional teams, maintaining high code quality and productivity.Regularly optimise code for performance, scalability, and security, following industry best practices.Contribute to product roadmaps with insights that align development with ImpactLab's strategic goals.Maintain clear technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and reduce technical debt.Ensure development practices meet data privacy and security standards, implementing secure coding to protect customer and IP information.Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years experience in software development.Experience with the SDLC.A strong background in PHP and ideally know the ins and outs of Laravel and Tailwind CSS.Experience collaborating and leading user research interviews to help create a product that meets and exceeds customer needs.Confident using a range of product/project management tools, incl.
