We are seeking a professional Class 5 driver to join our team in Napier on a rotating shift roster. You must have a minimum of class 5 licence with 2 years' experience, take pride in personal presentation and your equipment.
As we work in a safety-sensitive role, you will always need to be vigilant in following our standard operating procedures and adhering to our safety rules and policies.
The successful applicant would be required to undertake the following tasks on a day-to-day basis, but are not limited to: Maintain communication with Fleet OperationsUnderstand and follow APL SAFED defensive driving principles alwaysEnsure trucks and tankers are kept clean and tidy to set standardsEnsure vehicles driven carry all documentation required by lawFollow set procedures for pre-shift checks, loading, driving, and unloadingBe able to self-manage set delivery runsWe require our drivers to be customer-focused to ensure our customers always have fuel.
Full fuel industry training will be provided to the successful applicant, but previous fuel experience will be an advantage.
