Stand at the stern of the canoe and feel the spray of the future biting at your face.About the role the role of FSSO is to provide customer service for our Front Counter based at the Westport Police Station. Every day you will be dealing with challenging situations which will need to be approached with professionalism, respect, empathy and in a positive manner. You will be welcoming customers into the station and ensuring their enquiries are understood and handled appropriately.The role requires someone with excellent customer focus, be part of a high performing team, attention to detail with a can-do attitude. The role of an FSSO provides operational and administrational support to Police which includes but is not limited to, front counter customer service, data entry, use of Police systems, typing and file management.Key accountabilities the ability to deal with challenging individuals in a customer services environment. A sound knowledge of computer applications, in particular NIA and Microsoft suites. Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work hard in a team environment. Prioritise workflow. Manage time effectively to complete multiple files and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $66,670 and $76,592 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
