MenuAid exists to improve the world of food. We provide FMCG brands with game-changing behavioural insights that show WHY & HOW their products are used in the real world. We do this by leveraging the data captured from our shoppable recipe platform which is the preferred way to grocery shop for over 40,000+ Kiwis & Australians.
As a key member of our ~5 person technology team, you'll have the opportunity to directly contribute to revolutionising the way consumers shop for food and how FMCG brands understand their customers. This roles focus is towards a full stack engineer who has a passion for frontend, we're open to different levels of experience and ability on this role so read on and then apply if this is interesting to you.

Our interview process
A 15 minute call with the hiring manager. A ~60-90 meeting with 10 minute founder intro, and the rest for role specific discussion with hiring manager and probably a peer. A 60 minute technical deep dive or take home exercise plus discussions with hiring manager and a peer (depending on role/hiring manager). A casual invite to meet the team and see our office. References > Offer About the role Purpose of your role & key tasks
You will play a central role in building new and improving existing products we offer. You align with the team on the direction of your work, write code and pull requests for the team to review. As a intermediate/senior engineer, you can tackle projects independently, but coordinate your work with the team. As a Full-stack engineer with Vue/ReactJS experience you'll launch products using your ability to work independently, collaboratively and responsibly. Your qualities and attributes

Tech stack We're growing our team and this role is to accelerate our product development while also increasing our teams competency in frontend engineering.
We're looking for someone with experience in Vue/ReactJS and all things frontend. We use Vue, Blade, Tailwind, Bootstrap for Frontend, helping us is your passion and craft! Our technology ecosystem you'll also collaborate on
Vue, Blade, Tailwind, Bootstrap for frontend experiences. PHP8 and above for application code. Laravel Breeze, Vapor, Nova and we're exploring others. AWS for Databases, Data Engineering and AI with Bedrock. We're exploring use of AI tools across our products & Snowflake for data warehousing. Projects
We've launched Insights to enable brands to get to know their customers in 3 months and now all of our all 50 FMCG brand partners use it. We're working on our Consumer User Journey's for better customer engagement over the next two months. We we're excited to plan whats next which might be Data Pipelines, Insights or AI work after that.
