AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry.
As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.
Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
In this role, you will build visuals and experiences for Amazon QuickSight on a wide variety of devices and form factors.
This role offers wide scope, autonomy, and ownership.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and leadership experience to work with a team of rock star engineers to drive multi-year design and architecture decisions.
In this role you will make a worldwide impact on how our customers around the world analyze and visualize data.
Frontend Engineers at Amazon partner with customers, stakeholders, product managers, and UX designers to define and execute the product goals.
You challenge yourself and others to constantly come up with better solutions.
You're a thought leader, but you don't just know how to solve the problem; you prove it by building the solution.
You have a high bar for code quality and a passion for design and architecture.
Key job responsibilitiesHelp define front end architectures, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall user experience.Contribute to defining best practices for front end development.Collaborate with UX Designers and Product Managers.Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement as a member of an autonomous team.Write high-quality, efficient, testable code.Mentor and support the growth of other developers.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS4+ years of agile software development methodology experience.Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.
The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company.
