Our applications require high performance and process lots of data, giving our engineers experience with concurrency, functional programming, fault-tolerant systems, and distributed cloud architectures. Testability and Continuous Integration are very important to us, and we have great test coverage. You'll need to be able to work well in an autonomous and diverse environment while being able to prioritise effectively.
We maintain real-time, authoritative data on customer transactions for many of the world's biggest cinema chains and capture the behaviour of millions of moviegoers worldwide.
About the rolePlay a key role in the further development of our core Movio product, with a focus on React (and the opportunity to gain exposure to Golang too)Aid in the prioritisation, scoping and implementation of new features for the productInteract with key business stakeholdersCollaborate with other teams around integration, and requirementsDebug and troubleshoot existing production systemsYou'll need:Proven experience in a front end Software Engineer role, ideally working on SaaS productsExcellent knowledge of React, CSS, SCSS, HTML and frontend test suites.An interest in GraphQL, Auth0, Python and/or Golang would be beneficialStrong analytical and decision-making skills to create excellent, practical, pragmatic solutionsAbility to provide technical leadership in the frontend space, as well as take ownership of features from initial concept to productionWell-developed people skills with the ability to mentor more junior level engineersAbout MovioPart of the Vista Group, Movio is the global leader in marketing data analytics and campaign management solutions for the cinema industry.
