Scenic Hotel Group – Queenstown, South IslandLocation: 27 Stanley Street, Queenstown 9300Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent positionHours of Work: Guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours per week, on a rotating roster, including weekends from Monday - Sunday.Wage Rate: $33 - $38 per hourIs this role for you?We're excited to announce a Front Office Manager opportunity at Scenic Suites & Heartland Hotel Queenstown! Lead our front office team, coordinate operations, and drive success at our beautiful Queenstown property!Key Tasks & Responsibilities:Oversight of the running of the department including determining work requirements and allocation of duties.Preparation and maintenance of Front Office department rosters and attendance records.Planning, budgeting, and ordering for the Front Office department.Oversight of day-to-day activity of Front Office staff, and ensuring that training is coordinated, structured, and aligned with service standards.Taking a proactive approach to implementing service improvements to drive departmental success.Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:2-3 years relevant Front Office experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.An LCQ qualification, and a current Managers Certificate.Excellent verbal communication skills.Great leadership skills with a can-do attitude.Why Choose Scenic Hotel Group?We are New Zealand's longest-standing hotel group, proudly managing 18 properties across the country and the South Pacific, along with a network of independent brands throughout New Zealand.
