About The Role - Te Mahi
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office Team at Sudima Lake Rotorua.
This is a key role within the hotel, you will be responsible for the Front Office operations as well as the financial results of the department, while leading your team in providing an outstanding visit for our new and returning guests.

Responsibilities | Nga Haepapa
Manage Front Office Operations including rostering, ensuring staffing levels cover business demands in the most cost-effective manner.
Evaluate Guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures.
Complete a month end reporting on the department.
Obtain maximum occupancy and average rate.
Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office team with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
Assess all workplace procedures and equipment for hazards and identify ways to eliminate or minimise risk.
Assist Front Desk during busy check in and check out to ensure guests are receiving the best possible services.
Ensure department meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated.
Manage, train, and develop the Front Office team.
Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and amendments, Smoke Free Environments Act 1990 and the Gambling Act 2003 – New Zealand Legislation.

First Aid Certificate.
LCQ and GM License.
Happy to work a flexibility across a 24-hour roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Previous Senior Front Office experience essential.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting your team.
Confident, motivated, enthusiastic, and determined.
Takes pride in work and has exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise, work to deadlines and remain composed under pressure.
Work to a high standard, with accuracy and organization.
Approachability, flexibility and team player.
Committed to continuing professional development for both yourself and your team.
Full NZ drivers license.
Valid Right to Work in NZ.
