Job Description
Front Office Agent
First impressions are everything! As a Front Office Agent, you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.
Starting Rate of Pay: $19.70 per hour. We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $23.95.
What you will be doing:
Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, including cash handling - currency exchange and balancing a float
Serve as a sales agent promoting and up-selling hotel services
Take initiative to add a personalized experience
Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest's stay through up-selling
Qualifications
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Previous front desk experience is required, previous customer service experience is an asset
Service focused personality is essential
