Description Fix Federation (Specialist Bakehouse) AND Janus Bakkerij (Bakehouse and Cafe) are two well-established eateries in Lower Hutt. Fix is known for its donuts, pies, bread, and vibing team, while Janus Bakkerij has been trading for over 20 years.
We are currently seeking outstanding baristas and front of house team members to join our accomplished teams. Both Fix and JB are lively workplaces where we enjoy creating the best experience for our customers.
Responsibilities As a Front of House team member, you will:
Engage in counter sales at the bakery and make coffee.
Prepare sandwiches in the morning.
Serve customers with a variety of freshly baked goods.
Learn to open the shop, upsell, face retail shelving, rotate stock, and maintain the cabinet.
Work full time with shifts typically from 6am to 3pm or 4pm.
Qualifications This position would suit someone with barista experience (but it is not necessary) and offers the opportunity to progress into leadership roles. Flexibility in working hours is ideal, with the requirement to work Fridays and one weekend day.
