Friends of the Emergency Department Team LeaderCasualPrimary Location: AucklandHato Hone St John has been serving New Zealanders and working to save lives since 1885. We have an exciting opportunity available in North Shore Hospital to lead and support our Friends of the Emergency Department team.Responsibilities:Recruitment and training of new volunteersProvide support and mentoring advice to the teamReporting and attending Area Committee Meetings as requiredOrganising recognition events, meetings and training for the teamAttend a minimum of one shift per month at the hospitalPlease note, this is a voluntary position.Ko wai koe - About you:To be successful in this role, you will have:A genuine interest in the well-being of othersExperience and ability to problem solve, lead a team and be a team playerComputer literate to perform required administrative tasksExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsApplicants must be 18+ with a clean criminal recordThis is your opportunity to use your skills in an organisation that really makes a difference to the NZ community.
