Fresh Produce Storeperson - Day Shift

With one of our amazing team moving on to new adventures, we are looking to employ a fulltime storeperson to join our day shift in the Fresh Produce team at Bidfood Palmerston North.The successful applicant should:Have a track record of reliability and clear communicationBe physically fit (some heavy lifting is involved)Hold, or be keen to gain, your forklift licenceBe comfortable working in a chilled environmentHave a team-focused attitudePlace importance on attention to detail – previous experience working with fresh produce is an advantageHave a positive approach to learning new skillsHave pride in accuracy and efficiencyBe able to get the job done without fussBe honest and trustworthyWhat we can offer:Set roster - Monday to Friday45 hours a week minimum.Staff buying benefits - you will be given a staff account after 3 months, enabling you to buy goods at cost plus GSTA team-focused environmentRoom for future growth and personal developmentYour daily tasks will vary but will revolve around stock replenishment, all general store duties, and picking and packing customer orders.Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
