Fresh Foods/Chilled Manager We have an opportunity for someone to join our team in a senior management role in our busy supermarket. This full-time role will cover all aspects of our supermarket operations from inwards goods, stocktakes, merchandising, people management, customer service, duty management and the added responsibility of driving success in our Produce, Butchery, Seafood, Chilled and Frozen departments. Your day to day: Organise and lead the daily operations of the fresh and chilled departments Provide engaging leadership for all team members as duty manager Ensure the shop is presented to a very high standard at all times Ensure the team is providing 'next level' customer service Utilising SAP to its full potential to ensure KPIs are met Leading the team including delegating, giving feedback and training Working in a team environment – having great communication skills Adhering to all food safety and health and safety standards What we need from you: Produce/Butchery or supermarket department management experience preferred Resilience and ability to get stuff done Effective time management skills Organisation and strong planning ability A passion for leading and growing successful teams Proven record of high performance Experience in Microsoft Office functions and use of SAP is preferred Good product knowledge Strong levels of commitment to the business Honest and reliable Duty managers certificate or the ability to get one The days and hours of the position will be discussed with each individual short-listed applicant however there is a requirement to work one weekend day per week.
