The Role General warehouse and freight sorting duties Loading and unloading cages and pallets with freight that is of mixed shapes, sizes, type (fragile, top stow, dangerous goods and food stuffs) and weight. Ensuring all loads are safe and secure. Ensuring all customer freight is handled with respect. Experience needed Whilst previous freight sorting and operational experience is an advantage, this is an entry level position so no previous experience is necessary. Skills Needed Excellent communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally with people from different backgrounds and roles. Excellent organization and time management skills Good literacy and numeracy skills (for example able to read labels and place freight in the appropriate area) Must be reliable, punctual and dedicated to working as part of a team to get the job done.
