Freight Service RepresentativePublished: 07/01/2025Job Location: Wellington/New Zealand Work Type: Full TimeWe are looking for a permanent full-time Freight Service Representative to join our awesome team in Wellington!StraitNZ is a unique, nationwide end-to-end transport service, connecting New Zealand across both road and sea.
Our fleet of 2 ships and over 200 trucks is supported by a nationwide network of 10 depots and a 450+ strong team to deliver hundreds of thousands of tonnes of freight (and passengers) weekly.Who are we looking for?You need to be reliable and happy to work independently on a shift roster.You are an organised planner, an administration whiz and have great communication skills.You can pick up tech systems quickly and can speak clearly on the phone with clients.You enjoy being in a busy environment where you may need to make decisions under pressure.You work well in a diverse team environment and can also work unsupervised when required.You need a full and clean driver's license.You will have experience working in the transport industry OR a role of similar relevance and skills.You must be able to work full-time in the freight office on the beautiful Wellington waterfront.
