On behalf of our client, The Pond Recruitment is searching for a talented UX/UI Designer to freelance at a well-established NZ tech company.
You'll be no stranger to creating intelligent, simple user experiences, guided user journeys, and stunning user interfaces that surprise and delight. You must be able to showcase a beautiful and clean aesthetic, as design is at the heart of our client's business.
You'll need a strong understanding of the development process, sharp design thinking, an understanding of best practices concerning UX/UI, and an innate desire to deliver world-class solutions through collaboration and insight-led design.
The breakdown
We're looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer with:
A modern, clean, and beautiful design aesthetic
Awareness of all human-centered design best practices – balanced emphasis on UX & UI
The ability to ensure your design is insight-led
Some key responsibilities are:
Delivering beautiful user digital product experiences in a progressive team environment
Developing intelligent design systems and wireframes
Creating seamless user journeys/experiences based on user research and insights
An ability to align with the company visual design typography, desktop/mobile UI, colour, layout, iconography, and aesthetic when considering UX design and how these elements impact product function.
Excellent Figma prototyping skills for internal and external product testing – low-fi and hi-fi
