We truly believe that when people achieve their financial goals, their whanau and communities flourish as a result.To help us with this, we are searching for a Fraud & Investigation Specialist to join our team based in Invercargill.What you'll be busy with:Primary responsibility for fraud and dispute identification, monitoring, management and reportingTo contribute to and inform the Financial Crime Risk profile of the Bank through monitoring and assessment of control performance activities to maintain within Risk Appetite.Contribute to, implement and maintain a Fraud Risk framework including fraud strategy, development of policies and procedures, reviewing fraud rules and identifying opportunities for process improvement to ensure best practice.What you'll bring:Preferably a working knowledge of the NZ financial services industry, legislative and compliance requirements.Experience in fraud analytics or risk management.Ability to analyse a situation, extract key information and make well-informed decisions with autonomy.Experience in a range of investigation, conflict management and resolution techniques.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including well-developed report writing skills.Exceptional people, collaboration and negotiation skills to work with multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes.Resilience and the ability to stay calm under pressure, demonstrate resourcefulness and a proactive approach to problem solving.Be flexible, adaptable and pragmatic - with the ability to adapt to competing demands in a busy and changing environment, and take the initiative.This role is full time for 37.5 hours a week.About Us:We're on an exhilarating growth journey, and we need exceptional individuals who are ready to embrace our ambitious goals.
