ABOUT THE JOBWe are currently looking for a Formulation Technologist to join our team in Balclutha. This position offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to manage their own territory, with the support of the Product Change and Formulations Team. You will support the safe delivery of Infant Formula products via formulations development, in line with the manufacturing conditions of the Danone Balclutha factory operations. This is a technical, detail-oriented position with focus on decision-making through data analysis.This is a 18 month Fixed-Term full-time position working Monday– Friday between 8.30am and 4pm, with weekly on-call responsibility.Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Deliver safe, high-quality, in-specification nutritional formulations for Danone Balclutha operations and adapt nutritional formulations to manage milk and ingredient variabilityMaintain the integrity of formulations templates and source data to ensure high quality formulationsSupport Manufacturing, Quality, technical teams to achieve best-practice delivery of nutritional formulations and specialty milk managementWork in connection with the R&I team in Auckland to ensure recipe development follows base powder project specificationsProvide technical training for operational teams & support staff About You ABOUT YOUYou will have a tertiary qualification in Food Technology, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent.
