Temp to Perm Role Training provided! Our wood client is on the hunt for a forklift operator that has experience with timber. You will be required to confidently operate a counterbalance on site to load/unload and move goods around. Ideally, you are physically fit to lift. Previous knowledge/experience with timber is a MUST as you will have to identify the different types and understand their purpose for customers. This role is long term, temp to permanent for someone who is confident and reliable. You will need to have initiative and experience operating a counterbalance. TIMBER KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST! You can expect: Monday to Friday + Rotating Saturdays. Mon-Fri: 7am-5pm Occasional Sat: 8am-12pm. $25-$27p/hr + 8% holiday pay. Temp to permanent role. Duties Include: Operating counterbalance on site. Moving and dispatching goods. Working primarily outdoors. Lifting timber. Selecting timber – knowledge required. Helping with customer collections on site. Working in a team. Role Requirements: MUST HAVE license for Counterbalance. MUST HAVE knowledge/experience with Timber. Fit and strong – lifting up to 30kg.
