Employing over 660 employees across six sites, Claymark is experiencing growth and expansion under new ownership.We have a great opportunity for experienced people to join our team as Forklift Operators in Thames.ShiftsAfternoon Shift – Monday to Thursday, 1.30pm to 12.00am = 40 hoursDay shift – Monday to Thursday 5am to 3.30pm, Friday 5am to 11am = 45.5 hoursKey functions and duties:Ensure that timber flows within different areas of the Thames sites to meet production and dispatch requirements.Ensure that all maintenance inspections and routines are completed for the forklift on a daily and weekly basis.Ensure that all packaged timber is securely and safely transported and stored to avoid damage or injury to product, equipment or employees.Provide assistance to other forklift drivers as required to ensure the continuous operation of the business.Able to read and interpret written instructions and check off inwards and outwards loads.Load and unload trucks as required in a safe and efficient manner.Ensure the work area assigned to you is clean and tidy to Claymark standards.Ensure that operations are undertaken in compliance with all Company Health & Safety policies and procedures.Personal SpecificationsA current Class 2 drivers license and forklift license with F endorsement.3+ years of experience as a forklift operator, operating 10 tonne and over forklifts.Good levels of physical fitness and stamina.Ability to work unsupervised, be self-motivated and use initiative.An attention to quality and cleanliness.Work in a safe manner.Ensure you can turn up to work and be on time.If you are looking for stable employment with further opportunity to develop, we would love to hear from you!Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.To apply, please send your covering letter and CV to ******.
