Forklift Driver/Storeperson
Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day logistics operations of the warehouse at the Auckland head office, especially for storing and shelving goods using the forklift. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
Operating forklifts for loading, unloading, shelving and handling palletised goods within the warehouse (ambient/refrigerated/frozen).
General warehouse duties including picking and packing orders of ambient/chilled/frozen products, hand-loading and unloading goods to/from the vehicle, devanning of containers loaded with goods, and completing relevant administrative work (i.e. data entry) for stock management.
Monitoring inventory levels in multiple warehouses and tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stocking.
Organising stocktakes as required and other stock control measures providing direction to logistics staff and ensuring stock accuracy.
Keeping store areas clean and tidy, and unobstructed complying with the company's Health and Safety guidelines.

Compensation
$29.66 - $32.00 per hour
Minimum guaranteed hours of work
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
(8 hours between 7:00 AM and 12:00 midnight per day)
Requirements
Minimum six months of experience in operating a forklift or working in a warehouse environment.
Fluency in Japanese - the successful candidate must be proficient in Japanese because this role involves reading and instantly understanding Japanese language packaging for incoming inspection and product sorting.
NZ or overseas drivers licence required as this role may involve working late at night when public transport is unavailable, so commuting by personal vehicle is essential.
Extensive experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, e.g., NetSuite) and WMS (Warehouse Management System, e.g., RF-Smart) in logistics operations is a big advantage.
Physically fit and strong as heavy (25kg+) lifting and carrying are involved.
Have a positive attitude and confidence and are motivated to work independently as well as in a team.
