Forklift Driver

Tradestaff are seeking a skilled Forklift (Reach & Counterbalance) Operator to join our team. We have multiple clients in need of relief forklift operators. Some of our placements have the potential to become permanent roles. Starting rate: $25 per hour.
Requirements: Valid Forklift license (Reach & Counterbalance required).Proven experience operating Reach and Counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures related to forklift operations.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects as picking / packing duties are involved.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities: Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or distribution center.Safely handle products and materials using forklift equipment according to company procedures and safety guidelines.Perform pre-use inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or operational issues to the supervisor.Organize and maintain inventory within designated storage areas, ensuring efficient use of warehouse space.Assist with picking and packing orders, as well as preparing shipments for delivery.Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and practicing safe work habits.Rewards: Opportunities for permanent employment!Supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.Weekly pay and an immediate start!Successful applicants must: Pass a pre-employment drug test.Have 2 ready work references.Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license.You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.
