Forklift Driver

Walter & Wild is a New Zealand Manufacturing company with a substantial portfolio of iconic brands including Hubbards, I Love Food Co., Aunt Betty's, Hansells, Vitafresh and Alfa One.

Having warehousing experience in an FMCG or a similar industry is not required but will send you to the top of the shortlist. We are after someone with exceptional communication skills (written and oral), a bubbly and driven personality plus an attitude where nothing is too difficult.

Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

Receipt packaging
Transfer raw materials required for weigh up
Ensure pallets are wrapped and documented accordingly
Finished product and WIP- wrapped and removal
Store and Stock management
Supply production with pallets & layer boards as required
Removal & correct disposal of rubbish
Maintain Batch and location accuracy
Loading and unloading containers/trucks
Operating forklifts and reach forklifts

To be successful for this role, you will have:

A Forklift licence (reach and counterbalance preferred)
Previous Warehousing/Stores experience
Reliable transport to get to work
Good physical fitness (able to lift and move up to 25kg)
High levels of numeracy and literacy
Experience working in a fast-paced work environment
Experience with AX or similar ERP systems
A "can do" attitude, positive demeanour, sense of humour and flexible style is a must
