As one of our Forklift & Electric Trolley Instructors, your role will be to provide Trevelyans with competent licensed forklift drivers and Electric Trolley Operators through assessment, follow up instruction and training of required policy, procedures and all regulatory compliance related to safe forklift/trolley operation. The scope of this role may develop to include other equipment training (wheels/tracks/rollers) and licensing. The Role: Coach, train and licence new and existing Forklift & Electric Trolley Operators. Instruct attendees in the regulations/requirements of a competent and safe forklift operation. Coach and mentor Forklift operators to ensure they understand all relevant policies, procedures and regulations. Ensure Forklift operators understand their Health & Safety requirements and adhere to protocols. Identify Forklift Operators who require upskilling and complete as required. Be hands on with the Forkie team as needed and lead by example. Update and maintain training records (induction, training, licensing, SOP). To be successful in this role you will have: Previous Training and team leadership experience. A recognised 'Train the Trainer' qualification, or be willing to undertake the necessary qualifications. The ability to motivate, train and mentor others. A passion for Health & Safety. Willingness to work to midnight during the season (March to June) as required to train others.
