Employing over 1300 staff in 13 locations across New Zealand, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealand's port related product and cargo handling, adding value to our clients' businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs.Our Mount Maunganui branch is looking to hire reliable and experienced operators for heavy forestry machinery. The role involves operating Wagner's, high stackers and pivot steer heavy machinery to load/unload logging trucks/rail wagons and stack logs ready for loading onto log vessels in a port environment.Flexibility with working hours is required as there are a range of shifts required to cover this operation, which includes working nights and weekends.Experience in a port environment and/or forestry experience would be advantageous, as well as an ability to operate log loading machinery; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.Essential requirements for the position are:Experience in operating pivot steer log loaders & high stackersA minimum Full Class 1 licence with W endorsementA strong focus on Health and SafetyAn ability to work to deadlinesFlexibility and reliabilityYou may be required to demonstrate your abilities in the form of a practical pre-employment assessment as part of the selection process.C3 offers competitive remuneration and career progression opportunities.
