Forestry Machine Operator

The role involves operating Wagner's, high stackers, and pivot steer heavy machinery to load/unload logging trucks and stack logs ready for loading onto log vessels in a port environment.Flexibility with working hours is required as there are a range of shifts required to cover this operation, which includes working nights when vessels are loading.Experience in a port environment and forestry experience would be advantageous, as well as an ability to operate log loading machinery; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.Essential Requirements for the Position:Experience in operating pivot steer log loaders & high stackersExperience operating a reach stacker would be advantageous but not essentialA strong focus on Health and SafetyAn ability to work to deadlinesFlexibility and reliabilityYou may be required to demonstrate your abilities in the form of a practical pre-employment assessment as part of the selection process.C3 offers competitive remuneration and career progression opportunities.
