The Institute brings together scientists across disciplines and organisations, providing a "NZ Inc" approach to food science research, and it generates knowledge and capability that transforms the New Zealand food sector.
We are seeking a high-achieving Food Technologist to join our world-class team contributing to research and development of new food products and food ingredients including the development of products and technologies for industry funded projects and for commercialisation.
As the successful candidate you will form part of a multidisciplinary team engaged in developing and investigating novel food ingredients with specific digestive behaviours and nutritional profiles which can be used in food systems to deliver desired functionality.
The work will have a focus on developing novel technologies and may involve some collaboration with industry partners.
Qualifications: This appointment is Grade 5 ($56,622 - $80,006) with appointment reflective of skills and experience.
This is a permanent role (37.5 hrs p/w) and will be located at the Riddet Institute on the Massey University Manawatu campus in Palmerston North.
